The Heart of Darkness
- Africa in the 21st Century -

As the world progresses at an ever increasing rate, Africa continually misses its opportunity of joining the developed nations. Despite its enormous natural wealth and human resource potential, the failure just goes on and on, a whole continent betrayed by its self serving leaders.

As white Africans are ethnically cleansed from the continent, year by year, country by country. And as the black African middle classes leave a continent in shambles, for the greener and democratic pastures of the West, Africa inexorably falls apart like a decaying corpse.

The history of post colonial Africa has been one of rampant corruption, despotic dictators, tribal conflict, genocide, and a culture of dependency on hand outs and Western aid. The terrible ravages of AIDS continues to extract a heavy toll on Africa, and it does not seem likely there is a light anywhere near the end of the tunnel for this tragic continent.
