What
the Flag Means The green symbolizes hope, whilst the white symbolizes peace. The centre badge is the Rhodesian national coat of arms, adopted in 1924, being granted by Royal warrent on the 11th August that year. The motto on the coat of arms is, 'Sit Nomine Digna' - translated from latin as, 'May she be worthy of the name'. This flag was adopted on 11th November 1968, replacing the Blue Ensign. |
